Theme : Wakening the dinosaur by the rain drops from the sky! Period : March 30 ~ June 10, 2012 Venue: Danghangpo Tourist Center, Hoehwa-myeon, Gosung-gun, Gyeongnam (Special Event Hall: Sang-jok-am County Park) Hosted by : Gosung-gun, Gyeongsangnam Province Held by : Organization committee for the World Dinosaur Expo in Gosung, Gyeongnam.

Background of Theme Selection

1. Severe shortage of the water (1) Countermeasure for rain drops controlling is necessary Recognition on the value of the rain drop and Exploring the utilization method 2. Preparation of the educational EXPO (1) Attracting the conversion of understanding the rain drop (2) Utilization as a live classroom for the rain drop - Using the water for landscape - Production and supply the drinking water - Making resources for tourism. Establishment of rain drop control system - Establishment of green tourism place (Using the water for landscape) - Reduction of the supply water quantity (Rain drop reservoir, piggy bank) - Expansion of the water self sufficiency ratio (Rain drop system operation) - Acquiring the environment friendly hydraulic resources (Production and supply of drinking water) - Live classroom for the rain drop (Rain drops are the gift from the heaven not the disaster.) - Making resources for tourism (Water fall, swimming pool and water passage and etc.)

Chasing the footprint of the dinosaur: Listed in the science textbook for the 4th grade in elementary school, Rain drops which revive the earth; Listed in the Korean language textbook for the 2nd grade in middle school.

The environment and life of the earth 2) Program - Rain drop experience hall - Life, Environment and Agriculture Experience Hall - Dinosaur Garden 3. Future (Culture Zone) 1) Message - Inject the new life into the dinosaur. Resurrection as the dinosaur culture industry 2) Program - Expo Theme Hall - Dinosaur Culture Future Industry Hall
